alexa chung for madewell fall 2011

It-girl Alexa Chung has been hard at work designing her second collection for Madewell fall 2011. I was so excited to see these campaign images on Fashionista and I'm dying to see more. Chung looks absolutely stunning, as usual, and I expect I'll want to buy every piece, just because of how perfect and seemingly effortless she makes everything look. Love.

fashion's wedding of the year

As official photos from fashions wedding of the year begin to surface, we are reminded yet again of the amazingness that is Kate Moss. She is a definite favourite of mine so I could be biased but there is no denying the beauty and sincerity in these photos. They are simply stunning.

With some 16 bridesmaids, it was by no means a small wedding party but they were easily able keep a sense of intimacy in the shots, not without thanks to the official wedding photographer Mario Testino. In true Kate Moss style, the pixie theme to the wedding was so simple but absolutely perfect. As if we could've expected anything less from Ms Moss.

Jamie Hince looks like a complete babe as well - what girl wouldn't love to see their future husband looking like an absolute rockstar on their special day! It was the ultimate rock glamour wedding. One that will surely keep me jealous for some time to come.

I think I'm in love. If you weren't already excited about the coming summer (I might be a bit early but I'm counting down anyway), after seeing the launch of Myers Spring Summer collection, you definitely should be. The collection is amazing, full of bright tangerines, fuscias, reds, emeralds, purples and golds from some of Australia's most talented designers, including Sass & Bide, Manning Cartel and Ellery.

It has seriously made me want to run out and purchase every item and wear them immediately despite the weather still being way too cold for me to brave bare shoulders day or night. And as someone who has a wardrobe that consists almost entirely of blacks and neutrals, this feels like a serious style change. Maybe it's summer withdrawals that's making me want to be head-to-toe in bright colours but whatever it is, I like it.
